As a native of Jackson, MS, I began my career in higher education about seven years ago. I have since then acquired a profound passion for assisting students in reaching their academic goals. God has blessed me tremendously by being able to join a dynamic team that seeks to walk with students on their journey of seeking a degree. I thoroughly enjoy helping students reach their maximum potential. I look forward to working with many more students and helping them succeed. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, cooking new dishes, and working with my Girl Scout troop.

Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Natalie Pipkins Natalie Weaver, Admission Advisor

B.S., Exercise Science, Mississippi College

After living in Colorado for 8 years, I returned to the Jackson area in 2016. My career in higher education started in 2012 and it has been such a pleasant surprise. It is incredibly rewarding to help adult learners through their unique challenges and goals. I know how important it is to have continuous support and encouragement while pursuing an education and it is my number one goal to provide that to our students. I look forward to being your cheerleader and helping make this transition as easy as possible!
I enjoy being active and going on fun adventures with my husband and fur baby. The greatest perk of moving home has been spending time with family and friends that have stood by me through life’s ups and downs.

Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Our goal at Belhaven is to encourage and provide guidance as you transition to student and beyond! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time working with students to help them reach their goals. In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking and spending time with my husband and family.

I have worked in higher education for over 13 years. Every day has been exciting and rewarding. I have a heart and passion for reaching students where they are and helping them to set and achieve their goals. I had a desire to join the staff of Belhaven University because of the school’s emphasis on service and leadership and its focus on the integration of faith and learning. I knew that working here would not only give me the opportunity to do what I love to do, but it would also help me to grow spiritually. I am passionate about lifelong learning in any form, and investing in others by helping them to develop holistically.

I have been married for almost twenty years and have three precious children. My favorite times are spent doing yard work, appreciating nature, and enjoying adventures with my family.

I am working on my master's degree in higher education administration, which will be completed in August 2014-the countdown has officially begun. I am the mother of three boys who are actively involved in baseball and a wife for 12 years and counting. Prior to coming to Belhaven, I have had experience working with adult education, fundraising and public relations. I think that the many paths that I have traveled have placed me where I am today. It is a pleasure to be able to work with each one of you and watch you complete your journey to the exciting things that lie ahead. I have a very competitive nature about me and don't give up easily-challenges and bumps in the road do exist-but the life lessons we learn are very valuable.

1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 - Pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

I am a native of Jackson, MS and I have been working in higher education for a number of years and it has been a pleasure to serve students. It brings me great joy to be able to work with each one of you and assist you with achieving your goal of obtaining a degree. I serve as a Student Services Advisor for Belhaven University’s Adult and Graduate programs. I understand the struggles of balancing family, church, work and school, so I am always delighted to see students walk across the stage to receive their diploma in front of family and friends. I am so thankful to share that experience with students knowing that they were able to earn a degree in a Christian environment that has provided a foundation for future endeavors.
