I am excited to be a part of the Belhaven family to continue my passion of navigating students towards their career goals.  I have worked in higher education for over 10 years and it has been the most rewarding experience. It is humbling and a blessing to be able to provide support and encouragement to our students.

Our Adult and Graduate programs reflect a Christian world-view with supportive faculty and staff, and flexible with life-demands.  It is my desire to support you in discovering your passion and to enhance your opportunities for professional, spiritual, and personal growth.

Proverbs 3:5-6- Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Natalie Pipkins Natalie Weaver, Admission Advisor

B.S., Exercise Science, Mississippi College

After living in Colorado for 8 years, I returned to the Jackson area in 2016. My career in higher education started in 2012 and it has been such a pleasant surprise. It is incredibly rewarding to help adult learners through their unique challenges and goals. I know how important it is to have continuous support and encouragement while pursuing an education and it is my number one goal to provide that to our students. I look forward to being your cheerleader and helping make this transition as easy as possible!
I enjoy being active and going on fun adventures with my husband and fur baby. The greatest perk of moving home has been spending time with family and friends that have stood by me through life’s ups and downs.

Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Our goal at Belhaven is to encourage and provide guidance as you transition to student and beyond! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time working with students to help them reach their goals. It is so rewarding to be a part of the admissions team and to cheer our students on, from orientation to graduation. In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking and spending time with my husband and family.

I have worked in higher education for over 13 years. Every day has been exciting and rewarding. I have a heart and passion for reaching students where they are and helping them to set and achieve their goals. I had a desire to join the staff of Belhaven University because of the school’s emphasis on service and leadership and its focus on the integration of faith and learning. I knew that working here would not only give me the opportunity to do what I love to do, but it would also help me to grow spiritually. I am passionate about lifelong learning in any form, and investing in others by helping them to develop holistically.

Romans 12:12 - Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continually instant in prayer.

I am working on my master's degree in higher education administration, which will be completed in August 2014-the countdown has officially begun. I am the mother of three boys who are actively involved in baseball and a wife for 12 years and counting. Prior to coming to Belhaven, I have had experience working with adult education, fundraising and public relations. I think that the many paths that I have traveled have placed me where I am today. It is a pleasure to be able to work with each one of you and watch you complete your journey to the exciting things that lie ahead. I have a very competitive nature about me and don't give up easily-challenges and bumps in the road do exist-but the life lessons we learn are very valuable.

1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 - Pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

As a graduate student who also served as a teacher simultaneously, I understand that balancing work, life, and school can be challenging. Adhering to the mantra “do your best and God will do the rest” has armed me with faith and determination necessary not only to survive, but to thrive through it all. My hope is to provide teachers pursuing their educational goals the guidance, support, and encouragement with which they so generously serve their own students and others.

1 Corinthians 15:58 - So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.
